Legal Privacy Policy
Your finds are yours. We never see them.
This is the whole story of what Keviio does with your information, in plain English.
The short version
- Everything stays on your device. Your links, videos, screenshots, photos, notes, lists and collections are stored on your iPhone or iPad. We don’t run a server that holds them.
- No account. You never give us an email address, a name or a password.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Keviio contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
- The smart parts run on your device. Text recognition, sorting and the list helpers use Apple’s on-device frameworks, including Apple Intelligence where it’s available.
- We don’t sell or share your data, because we don’t collect it in the first place.
What’s stored, and where
When you save something, Keviio keeps it in the app’s private storage on your device. That includes the items themselves (links and their previews, video links, screenshots, photos, notes and checklists), anything Keviio works out about them (recognized text, colors, categories and piles), and your own organization (collections, tags, pins, highlights, reminders and settings).
The Share extension, the Safari extension, Siri and the Home Screen widget use a storage area that only Keviio’s own parts can open, so they can add things to your library and show your lists. That data also stays on your device.
Your device’s own backups (for example, an iCloud or computer backup you have turned on) may include Keviio’s data, the same way they include other apps. Those backups are handled by Apple and your settings, not by us.
If you delete an item, or delete the app, the data is removed from your device.
On-device intelligence
Keviio uses Apple’s on-device technology to make your library searchable: the Vision framework to read text in screenshots and photos and to recognize what’s in a picture, and Apple Intelligence, where your device supports it, for helpers such as turning text into a checklist, sorting a shopping list by aisle and suggesting titles. This processing happens on your iPhone or iPad. Keviio does not send your screenshots, photos, notes or lists to us or to any AI service.
Network requests the app makes
Keviio connects to the internet only to do things you asked for. It never sends your library anywhere. Here is the complete list:
| Request | Goes to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Link previews | The website you saved | To fetch the page title, description and picture for a link you save, and to check later that it still opens. |
| Article copies | The website you saved | To make the clean reader version and the offline copy of an article you save. |
| Video and post details | The public oEmbed endpoints of YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, X and Pinterest | To get the title and thumbnail for a video or post you save. YouTube thumbnails load from YouTube’s image server. |
| Video playback | YouTube, TikTok or Vimeo | When you press play, the service’s own embedded player loads inside Keviio. That player is run by the service and covered by its privacy policy. |
| Price checks | The shop you saved | If you turn on a price alert, Keviio loads that product page when you open the app to see whether the price dropped. |
| Website icons | icons.duckduckgo.com | To show a small icon next to a saved link. Only the website’s domain name is sent. |
| Purchases | Apple (App Store) | To buy, restore and check a Keviio Plus subscription. |
Like any connection on the internet, these websites and services see a request coming from your device’s IP address, and they handle it under their own privacy policies. Keviio does not add any identifier about you to these requests.
Purchases
Keviio Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether your subscription is active. We don’t receive your name, email address or payment details. To see or manage your subscriptions, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Permissions
Keviio asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it. You can change any of them later in the Settings app.
| Permission | What it’s used for |
|---|---|
| Photos | To find new screenshots you might want to keep, and to add them automatically if you turn that on. Importing photos you pick yourself never needs this access. |
| Camera | To take a photo for a note or a list item, like the exact product to buy. |
| Microphone and Speech Recognition | To turn what you say into the text of a note. Keviio listens only while you’re speaking a note. |
| Face ID / Touch ID | To unlock your private finds. Keviio never sees your face or fingerprint data; iOS only tells it whether unlocking succeeded. |
| Notifications | For the reminders you set, price drop alerts, and a weekly note about what you saved. These are scheduled on your device; no notification server is involved. |
Sharing and export
Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to send it. When you share an item or a collection (as a file or as a web page) or export your library, Keviio creates the file on your device and hands it to the destination you pick in the share sheet. What happens next is up to you and that destination.
This website
keviio.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
Keviio is a general-audience app and isn’t directed at children under 13. Because Keviio doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, it doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
Since your data lives on your device, you’re in control of it: you can view, edit, export or delete anything at any time inside the app, and deleting the app removes its data from your device. We don’t hold a copy we could hand over, sell or lose. If you email us, we use your message only to help you, and we delete it on request.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Keviio handles information, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also mention it in the app’s release notes.
